NCSC-A National Level Annual Programme called National Children's Science Congress-School Children from the age of 9-14 have been engaged in this programme-the children are mobilised and guided to do simple project activity in and around the school and the community-this programme includes training to school teachers, nearly a three-month project activity by the students, presentation of project report in a District Science Congress and selection of best projects for state level Science Congress-these projects were evaluated by professors, social activists, etc. All children are given certificate-by this programme we intend to make the children to understand the process of science and scientific temper and aims to develop alternate curriculum in science-conducted from August to November every year-it requires nearly Rs.10,000 for the whole programme.
